Due to the inherent nature of Botanical Perfume we are not able to accept returns or exchanges on any items offered by Illuminated We encourage our customers to sample our perfumes at events or by purchasing sample packs and small items so that clear decisions are made when purchasing. This policy insures that the perfumes you receive are fresh and the sustainability of my tiny artisanal business model.

If an item is damaged during transit, a minimum of two clear images are required via email to file an insurance claim. Please see our email address below. The insurance claim may be denied without requested information and images, therefore a replacement can not be provided. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods in case the delivery company requests it.

If the tracking information shows "delivered" and you do not have the shipment, please file a claim with the USPS directly.
If a package (domestic or international) is returned to Illuminated Perfume for any reason Illuminated Perfume will submit a refund for returned products only. The shipping fees are non-refundable by Illuminated Perfume. All the packages shipped by Illuminated Perfume are insured. The non-refunded fees may be submitted to the insurance company by the customer. If you require our assistance with this process please let us know.

If you live in a foreign land please be aware that you may receive a bill for customs and import taxes. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply, Illuminated Perfume is not responsible for delays due to customs.

ALL returns must be in their original packing and in unused condition and sent back within 3 days of receiving your order after receiving confirmation from Illuminated Perfume.

We cannot honor refunds/exchanges/store credits for any merchandise that is sent back to us after 3 days of receipt, has been used, and/or is not in its original packaging.

Please note, you are responsible for the shipping and handling charges of returning the merchandise to us.

Refunds will be issued promptly if merchandise has been received and approved for a refund. The refund amount is on the actual item, not shipping. Any additional fees that may have occurred, such as Paypal fees, will be subtracted from the refund amount.

For your protection, we suggest you send your return with insurance and delivery confirmation for tracking purpose. We are not responsible for any returned packages lost in shipping to us.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

REFUNDS procedure when applicable
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you havenโ€™t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Next contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for the exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We donโ€™t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

We DO NOT offer refunds on classes, courses and or workshops, instead you may apply the payment to another class, course or workshop of the same type. For example, if you signed up for a perfume class then you may apply the credit to another perfume class, etc.
