This 3-hour Custom Perfume Immersive Session is a deep, hands-on exploration of botanical perfumery, designed for those who wish to fully immerse themselves in the art and science of creating a personal, signature fragrance.
Guided by Roxana, a professional natural perfumer with over two decades of teaching experience, attendees will explore scent from its historical and alchemical roots through modern olfactory science. Each participant receives personalized guidance in creating a custom perfume using a curated palette of botanical essences tailored to their intention, personality, and scent preferences.
This immersive session allows for extended exploration, multiple refinements, and a richer palette of essences, giving participants the time and space to craft a fragrance that is truly their own.
The Experience
The session begins with an introduction to perfumery, covering:

The history and traditions of natural fragrance

Olfactory vocabulary and the language of scent

Top, middle, and base notes and the structure of a balanced perfume

Fragrance families and how to blend harmoniously
Over the course of three hours, attendees:

Smell and explore a broad range of botanical essences

Experiment with combinations under Roxana’s guidance

Refine formulas iteratively to achieve a deeply personal scent

Depart with a finished 4-gram signature perfume in glass, with a base of organic grain alcohol or jojoba oil

- Citruses: Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, Sweet or Bitter Orange, Petitgrain
- Herbs, Leaves & Spices: Clary Sage, Clove, Geranium, Ginger, Lavender, Rosemary, Patchouli, Pepper
- Resins: Labdanum, Frankincense, Galbanum, Oakmoss, Styrax (essential oils, CO₂ extracts, and absolutes)
- Woods & Roots: Cedarwood, Juniper, Vetiver
