The tropical headiness of Lyra lies in the melding of jasmine and ylang ylang at the heart, both these essences are associated with femininity and sensuality. In aromatherapy circles these aromatics are considered relaxing, euphoric and strong aphrodisiacs. The word aphrodisiac comes from the name of the Greek Goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite.

The tiny glass vial contains .3 grams of pure perfume extract. 1 gram is equal to .036 ounces, the measurement is by weight not volume.
The solid is in a base of local beeswax and organic jojoba seed oil. The solid perfume sample is contained in a tiny tub, measuring 1 inch wide x 3/4 inch high. There is at least 0.5 grams of solid perfume, by weight, in the container sometimes more. Both the vial and pot arrive in a wax sealed glassine envelope with informational cards.
The solid arrives in a tiny tub with an iconic honeybee wax seal on the lid. The tubs measure 1 3/4 inch wide by 1/2 inch high, see photos. There is at least 0.5 grams/mls of solid perfume in the container, usually about .8 grams/mls by weight. These are hand poured, thus the exact amount will vary. Please refer to photos which indicate how much is contained within.
The duet arrives with a card for your fragrance placed in a re-usable pouch, pictured in the photo as well as a 2.5 inch FSC® Certified birchwood spatula to use for sampling the solid.
The tub is polypropylene which does not contain BPA and is # 5 on the recycling chart. The tubs are susceptible to oxidation & UV degradation, thus best to use the solid perfume, instead of storing over time.
